A low conversion rate means that you’re not earning as much  as you want. By implementing these conversion rate optimization techniques on your website and landing pages, you can improve your overall conversion rate. It may not work immediately, but after a while you should see results.

    How to Improve Conversion Rate Optimization

    There are lots of ways to optimize your website to increase your conversion rate, but we’ve come up with five very useful strategies you can implement: 

    • Make your site as fast as possible. How fast your website loads is one of the main factors that affect your conversion rate. We live in an age where everyone wants everything instantly. People don’t like to wait. Did you know that if a website  takes more than 3 seconds to load, over 50% of people will abandon it? If your website loads slowly because of broken code, high-resolution images, or too much going on at once, it can seriously impact your ability to get users to stay. Try to make your site as fast as possible because it will also benefit your SEO;
    • Use Split Testing. Not only can you split your test ads to see which one gets more clicks, you can also split  your landing pages. This means that if 10 people visit your landing page, 5 will see one version and 5 will see the other version. This is beneficial because it allows you to test  different layouts, copy, and styles to see which one results in a better conversion rate. Once you’ve done this for a while, you can analyze the data and choose the best-performing pages to improve your conversion rates;
    • Use a Very Clear CTA. The CTA or call to action is the part of your landing page that’s crucial to converting. It’s designed so that when a user clicks on the link, they get an immediate response – a sales page, an offer, or whatever the visitor’s end goal is. While your landing pages and websites need good copy overall, your CTA needs to be exceptional and easy for your visitors to recognize.  Place it clearly on the  page so it stands out, and write it in a way that will move someone to take action;
    • Keep it minimalist. A website shouldn’t be cluttered or chaotic, especially if your goal is to get conversions on that page. Avoid overcomplicating your pages with complex designs and keep distractions  to a minimum. You want to clearly communicate to your audience what your offer is, what  benefits they get, and how they can get it. And that’s it. Make your design a clean, compelling copy, and keep it as simple as possible. You can find plenty of examples of this on the internet;
    • Create a great offer. Finally, you can implement all the optimization strategies you want, but if your offer is simply not interesting, you won’t get many conversions. This can be a trial and error process. You may find that some offers are simply bad and there is no market for them, but for others you may need to follow the data. Even if you have an effective landing page, very fast website load times, clear CTAs, and great copy, if your offer is not converting, it’s very likely that it  just isn’t popular enough  to take action.
